Bannermedia Ltd is a company registered in England & Wales (company number 13237724) with its registered office at 20–22 Wenlock Road, London N1 7GU. We are registered as a data controller with the UK Information Commissioner's Office under reference ZC099501. For data-protection queries, contact hello@bannermedia.ltd.
What we collect
This website collects minimal personal data:
- Server logs. When you visit, our edge cache and origin servers record IP address, request URL, user-agent, timestamp, and referrer for security and traffic-analysis purposes. Logs are retained for 30 days.
- Analytics. We use a self-hosted analytics service (Umami) running on European infrastructure. It records page views and referrers without cookies and does not fingerprint visitors.
- Email correspondence. If you write to hello@bannermedia.ltd or any other route, we keep your message and reply for as long as is reasonable to maintain the working relationship, typically up to seven years for tax-record purposes.

Lawful basis
We process the above on the following lawful bases:
- Legitimate interests for server logs and non-tracking analytics, where the interest is the secure, measured operation of our public website.
- Performance of contract or pre-contractual steps for correspondence that relates to a present or prospective engagement.
- Legal obligation for retention of records required under UK tax and company law.
Where data is held
Our infrastructure is operated across multiple European providers: the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Finland. We do not transfer personal data outside the United Kingdom or European Economic Area in the normal course of website operation. Where we engage third-party processors, we ensure they offer equivalent protection.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request erasure of data, subject to legal retention obligations.
- Object to or restrict our processing of your data.
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
